In this area, the production was always concentrated on covering domestic demand. The provinces of Misiones and Corrientes are characterized by the development of native breed and Hereford beef cattle raising.

In Chaco and Corrientes the native breed, Zebu is crossbred with European breeds to develop cattle that can handle the very hot climate

Parades are a festive time in Argentina.  They call for music, dancing, and fancy dress. The gaucho's come to display their horsemanship.  In this parade,  they were divided into groups or clubs depending on the city or the area they were from.  

As we walked down the street prayer walking, S. was talking about the electric fence you see in the picture. He said they only turn it on at night. I asked him how that kept the animals inside. He said they didn't want the children to accidentally touch it during the day and besides it wasn't to keep the animals in. They turn it on at night to keep the thieves out of the pen.
